Lot 29 Thornleigh Rosco R254 (P)
Born 09/09/2020 – We love this powerful young poll bull Thornleigh Rosco R254, by Wirruna Mayfair M124 (PP) and out of a Wirruna Gular G285 (P) daughter. He has loads of muscle, a raw scan of 6.7% IMF in March, 46cm in the working gear and he is put together just right. He is extremely correct in his structure and was joined to stud heifers in the spring of 2021. Thornleigh has retained semen to use in-herd. This is a measure of what we think of this bull.
Lot 30 Thornleigh R214 (AI) (H#)
Born 03/07/2020 R214 is by our 2017 Brisbane Grand Champion bull Thornleigh Legume L371 (S) and out of a Thornleigh Trailblazer E341 daughter. He is a really thick, round-topped bull with great feet and legs. L371 is a bull we have used over many heifers for his short gestation lengths. R214 has a strong head with a great eye set, pigment and strong Hereford aesthetics.
Lot 31 Thornleigh Rackemann R264 (H#)
Born 11/09/2020. Thornleigh Rackemann R264 is an absolute tank! He has extreme depth of body in the same mould as his sire Lotus Legion. He is beautifully fleshed with terrific muscle in a very easy doing, high IMF (6.5% in March) carcase. He has a tremendous sire’s head, plenty of pigment and ideal skin type. He has a lovely shoulder set and front end for a bull that carries as much muscle as he does. Great footed bull.
Lot 63 Thornleigh Revolver R332 (H)
Born 01/10/2020. Revolver R332 is an extremely long-bodied son of Thornleigh Black Hawk N240 out of an Ironbark Kurrajong F303 daughter. Black Hawk N240 was sold to John Smith at Woodenbong and was out of a beautiful milking female J200. R332 has a lovely skin, he moves very freely and his structure is ideal. We highly recommend this bull to breed well as we know the performance of his whole pedigree is strong. He scanned 6.2% IMF in March.
Lot 64 Thornleigh Reggie R389 (H)
Born 06/10/2020. Typical length of body in Reggie R389 as are all the Black Hawk N240 progeny. This bull is as soft as butter with a lovely smooth pattern to him. He has a beautifully laid-in shoulder and his head carriage is very eye-catching. He has the ideal structure for use on heifers. His mother is a Thornleigh Trailblazer E341 daughter from the high-performing Katherine female line. IMF scan of 6.5% in March.
Lot 65 Thornleigh Revolution R305 (H)
Born 20/09/2020. R305 has an extremely docile temperament, deeply bred. He is by the high performing Cara Park Unique J374 from a Thornleigh Ribstone F177 daughter. Good on his feet and with a perfectly laid shoulder, he is built for longevity and has a wide range of uses including heifer joinings. IMF scan of 5.8% in March.

He is by the $55,000 sire 0002X (whose sons in the 2014 sale averaged $29,000 for 12) and out of the $95,000 6155S cow whose 13 sons in the 2014 Holden sale averaged $33,000. He bends the growth curve with a 36kg birthweight and is being used by the leading herds in North America. We have his first calves on the ground and they look really exciting.
