Sire: Baldridge SR Goalkeeper

Dam: HBUP38 by Boonaroo Jolimont J141

We always like to start the sale off with a top rung bull - U11 is an ET calf from our Anvil donor cow, P38, who has two other top sons in the sale, including her natural calf U18 at lot 4 and U17 at lot 6.This Goalkeeper son is upstanding, beautifully free in his movement, and his data is solid. He's below average where you want him to be and above average in his growth, fat and carcass value traits. A bull we're proud to lead the sale off with.

Lot 2 Northtor Ubiquitous U8 PV b. 24/06/23

Sire: Ferguson Trailblazer 239E

Dam: LLSR45 by Texas Louis Vuitton L618

The scale-breaker of the draft, U8 has been the powerhouse bull all his life. If you look at his data it's an accurate reflection until you look at his EMA. In the flesh he has enormous spring of rib and tremendous depth of body. If you're producing feeder steers then this bull will get them on the truck quickly. Top 1% IMF and high indexing all the way. He has a full flush brother at Lot 9 who is just as powerful. His dam's first calf made $8000 in our 2024 sale.

This is such an easy doing bull with such capacity. He's an ET son of Q150, who has such width and depth of body, with tremendous udder quality and is a really maternal type cow with extra capacity. Sire: Baldridge SR Goalkeeper

Dam: HBUP38 by Boonaroo Jolimont J141

The natural calf from one of our most highly rated breeders and donors, P38. U18 is so easy on the eye - the way he is coupled together oozes longevity and profitability. To me he is as complete as any bull in the offering - from a cow line that will produce strongly every time. P38 has as good a bull calf by Craftsman as any for next year and has been part of our donor program again in 2024.

Sire: Baldridge SR Goalkeeper

Dam: LLSQ150 by Quaker Hill Mile High 4EX31

U14 is a full brother to lots 3 and 7. He is more moderate in frame with as much body width and depth as any bull in this draft - tremendous top line and square hip. He moves freely on solid feet and legs and couples that with a great data set - low birth to high early growth - nice carcass data and top 10% Angus breeding index. He has a bullet-proof temperament.

Lot 10 Northtor U22 (unreg) PV b. 06/09/23

Watch the video of Lot 10

Sire: Clift Paratrooper R76 (unreg)

Dam: HBUP202 by Irelands Kirkham K112

Out of one of our most favourite Anvil cows, this good commercial bull is sired by a backup bull, DIPR76 who, when DNA tested, came back negative to the stated sire. So his pedigree is missing the paternal grandsire. Nevertheless, the reason this bull still makes the sale lineup is self evident. He is very smoothly made, wide topped and based, dead quiet and performs alongside the best of the draft for weight gains, foot quality, and is backed by one of our favourite cows, P202. We are still endeavouring to establish his correct sire. If we can, the details will be in the supplementary information.

Lot 11 Northtor Voltaire V19 PV b. 05/04/24

Watch the video of Lot 11

Sire: Baldridge SR Goalkeeper

Dam: HTML97 by Ayrvale Bartel E7

V19 starts a great run of long yearling bulls with a bang. He is a Goalkeeper son whose data set really fits with what you see in the flesh. He has been at the top of the group weights all along. He is tremendously wide over the top. His data says top 1% muscle and positive fats and this really fits. Really good footed and free moving bull. His dam is a top rung donor cow whose son sold in 2024 for $12,000. She has another ET Son at Lot 14 and her natural calf by Prime Minister at Lot 18.

Lot 12 Campaspe Rocks Goalkeeper V65 PV b. 27/03/24

Watch the video of Lot 12

Sire: Baldridge SR Goalkeeper

Dam: HTM21S25 by GAR Phoenix

Another bullet-proof Goalkeeper son in V65. He has extra length of body and is wonderfully balanced in his structural build. Front end extension in this calf is a feature and his dam is a young Phoenix daughter who is moderate, strongly built and a strong milking female. This bull rates highly with us.

Lot 13 Northtor Volcanic V13 PV b. 03/04/24

Watch the video of Lot 13

Sire: Baldridge SR Goalkeeper

Dam: HTMP67 by Sydgen Black Pearl 2006

A bit more performance and frame in V13. His numbers are a bit more middle of the road, but in the flesh he shows high end potential performance. His dam is a massive bodied cow and V13 has the similar body type as her, with extra extension and cleanly made through his front end. Another dependable Goalkeeper son.

Lot 14 Northtor Viaduct V17 PV 05/04/24

Watch the video of Lot 14

Sire: Connealy Craftsman

Dam: HTML97 by Ayrvale Bartel E7

This is the first son to be offered (possibly in Australia) by the highly anticipated $500,000 Connealy Craftsman. The Craftsman's we have so far are exceptionally thick bodied and stand up on a strong foot with great angles. V17 is a flush son of L97 - dam of V19 at Lot 11 and her natural calf, V22 at Lot 18. Her son sold in 2024 for $12,000. V17's recipient dam might not have done as much for him as she could have, but he is fast catching up. He is suited to heifer joinings and has some really solid data - indexing in the top 5 or 6% of the Angus breed. The Craftsman's have us excited for what's to come.

Lot 15 Campaspe Rocks Spectacular V29 PV b. 03/05/24

Watch the video of Lot 15

Sire: Stoney Point Spectacular S026

Dam: HTM21S41 by CR Quinton Q17

This is a really top son of the exciting young sire, Stoney Point Spectacular. He's moderate in his makeup and structurally very good. He is a particularly active bull - always on the fence line! He has a terrific data set, bending the growth curve and with high value carcass and structural data - EMA at 12.8 and IMF at 4.4! He's a top 5% indexing bull. His mother is a granddaughter of Beast Mode and is fitting into our breeding herd up the top end.

Lot 16 Campaspe Rocks Spectacular V62 PV 23/03/24

Watch the video of Lot 16

Sire: Stoney Point Spectacular S026

Dam: HTMR77 by GAR Phoenix

V62 is a low birth weight, curve bending type bull by Stoney Point Spectacular again. He is a high performance calf phenotypically and has a wonderful spring of rib and more capacity. Structurally, he is hard to pull apart. His dam is extra long and a wonderfully free moving female. This is a bull that really pushes the scales down every time he's been over them. His IMF is around the top 10% of the breed and he has positive external fats.

Watch the video of Lot 17

Sire: Booragul Prime Minister S171

Dam: HTMP79 by Baldridge Beast Mode B074

This is the first calf by the cracking Prime Minister son Booragul S171. His first three bull calves are all in this lineup and they are something else. S171 is a magnificent animal with tremendous roundness in his muscling. He has wonderful feet and a temperament that's second to none. V23 has more carcass than most. He is moderate in his growth pattern but weighs up with the best. His mother, P79, is a beautiful Beast Mode daughter with exemplary udder and teat shape and size. This calf has his sire's unflappable temperament. There's plenty more to come from this sire line.

Lot 18 Northtor Valiant V22 PV b. 17/05/24

Watch the video of Lot 18

Sire: Booragul Prime Minister S171

Dam: HTML97 by Ayrvale Bartel E7

This young cracker-jack by Prime Minister, is the natural calf from L97 who also has two other young sons (V19 at lot 11 and V17 at lot 14). He is long bodied and has the most red meat content of any in this sale draft. His spring over the entire top-line is magnificent. He stands up on great feet and legs and for a bull with this sort of muscle content, he has great extension through the front end. L97 is in our sights for flushing again this year. He has an outstanding set of numbers - top 20% over 13 individual traits and indexing in the top 2% of the breed.

Lot 19 Campaspe Rocks Bonus U43 PV b. 01/10/23

Watch the video of Lot 19

Sire: Sydgen Bonus 8084

Dam: HTMQ06 by Baldridge Beast Mode B074

The first of four impressive Bonus sons in this draft, U43 has a wonderfully soft, smooth skin and an efficient confirmation type - he's very sound and has a nice even temperament. A very attractive, stretchy Beast Mode mum behind him only further recommends him. For those chasing a little more IMF, look no further than U43 as he's in the top 1% of the breed at 6.3.

Lot 20 Northtor Bonus U34 PV b. 03/10/23

Watch the video of Lot 20

Sire: Sydgen Bonus 8084

Dam: HTMM145 by AAR Ten X

Another Bonus son here - only an October calf and performing in line with the older bulls. He's a versatile type - low in birth weight to suit heifers, and a very competitive suite of carcass data - solid IMF. The good thing with U34 is his phenotype exceeds his paperwork and he is so quiet - I like him a lot.

Lot 21 Northtor Ashland U35 PV b. 30/09/23

Watch the video of Lot 21

Sire: GAR Ashland

Dam: HTML111 by Deer Valley In

No surprises here - U35 is a GAR Ashland (who has over 3000 progeny analysed on the Australian database) and U35's dam is currently pregnant with her 10th calf. This fella has real strength of spine and hangs a lot of flesh on it - he is clean skinned and long fronted. Bet on this one for longevity. He has exceptional calving ease, GL and birth-weight data so use him on heifers with confidence.

Lot 22 Northtor Bonus U30 PV b. 26/09/23

Watch the video of Lot 22

Sire: Sydgen Bonus 8084

Dam: HTMM131 by Deer Valley In

One of the pick Bonus sons, this end of September bull is at the higher performing end of these younger bulls. He has extra length of body and roundness of muscle shape. His dam is a cow that John Knight (who we purchased her from) always raves about and he has flushed a full sister of M131 very successfully. She goes back to the renowned Vermont Dream cow and has an outstanding Craftsman bull calf just weaned. This bull will suit those wanting more performance - his data says a bit lower body fat so keep that in mind.

Lot 23 Northtor Bonus U33 PV b. 29/09/23

Watch the video of Lot 23

Sire: Sydgen Bonus 8084

Dam: HTMM18 by Millah Murrah Kingdom K35

A very similar phenotype to the previous bull, this young bull has strong calving ease and birth weight traits and is very strong on his feet and leg structure. His maternal brother sold for $8000 in our 2024 sale .

Watch the video of Lot 24

Sire: Outwest Reckless R20

Dam: NDL21S196 by Outwest Dis Navarone N10

U25 is a really easy-doing, moderate growth pattern bull from a two year old first calver. He has great calving ease, gestation and birth weight data and also some pretty solid growth data. He is as easy doing as any in the drauft and his positive fat data reflects that.

Lot 25 Northtor Ulmarra U21 PV b. 09/09/23

Watch the video of Lot 25

Sire: GAR Phoenix

Dam: NDL21S186 by Outwest PHT Klondyke K10

U21 has started to really push his way through the draft. He's by GAR Phoenix, who has 1600 registered progeny in Australia. He stands on nice feet and moves with balance. Phenotypically, he shows a lot of muscle, and his data backs that up and combines it with positive fats.

Lot 26 Campaspe Rocks Quarterback V49 PV b. 20/03/24

Watch the video of Lot 26

Sire: Murdeduke Quarterback

Dam: HTM21S52 by CR Bartel Q30

Back on to another top group of long-yearlings here. V49 is by one of the dominant bulls in the Australian beef scene at the moment. With over 5000 progeny recorded, Quarterback is a safe bet. This fella is long and clean through the front end, with low birth weight, calving ease and GL traits. He has real versatility in his range of use and his maternal backing is strong. We purchased his dam and his grand dam (the dam of Lot 15) which go back to the highly influential breeding female Ardrossan Princess W38.

Lot 27 Campaspe Rocks Quarterback V74 PV b. 13/05/24

Watch the video of Lot 27

Sire: Murdeduke Quarterback

Dam: HTMR72 by GAR Phoenix

In looks, V74s a mirror-image of the previous Quarterback son, V49, and both go back to the Ardrossan Princesses. This fella definitely has more performance, as does his mother and he's at the top end of the growth scale. Structurally, he's hard to pull apart and covers a lot of ground. Look to this bull to increase performance in your herd.

Lot 28 Campaspe Rocks Spectacular V61 PV b. 21/03/24

Watch the video of Lot 28

Sire: Stoney Point Spectacular S026

Dam: HTMQ23 by AAR Ten X

This is a really functional type calf from the exciting young Stoney Point Spectacular sire. His pedigree is full of breed influencing females, including the Great Ardrossan Princess females in Z150 and W38. The structural integrity is high in this bull - he stands up on very good feet and angles that are just right for breeding longevity. She's new to us, but I really like his mother, Q23. A bull that has more ease of doing than his numbers might suggest.

Lot 29 Northtor Valour V16 PV b. 04/04/24

Watch the video of Lot 27

Sire: Ferguson Trailblazer 239E

Dam: HTMR65 by CR Docklands M11

A real performance young bull. Like all the Trailblazer sons, his growth sees him in the top 2-3 percent. V16 is a deep set bull with a great hind leg on a little extra bone. He will breed calves that get up and grow early. He has a lovely loose skin. His dam is a neat cow who goes back to the Vermont Dream cow. I think her actual milk content exceeds her milk data.

Lot 30 Northtor Vulcan V7 PV b. 26/03/24

Watch the video of Lot 30

Sire: Campaspe Rocks Scalehouse S14

Dam: LLSQ150 by Quaker Hill Mile High 4EX31

V7 is really robust young bull - a high yielding carcass type on him. He's the only son of S14 in the sale draft this year. He's backed up AI programs over some registered females and he's really delivered. He will get some more this year. V7's mother is Q150, a quality, high milking, big capacity female who's been used as a donor in our herd and is also the dam of feature lots 3, 7 and 8 . Really strong on his feet and leg quality, he is a young bull that should deliver breeding longevity.

Sire: Thornleigh Strikeforce S163 (H)

Dam: TCCQ132 by Courallie J Jamiroquai (H)

PURE HORNED GENETICS. HEIFER SUITABLE. EYE PIGMENT XXX/XXX. This is a really striking young bull. A bull I believe has a wide ranging application in the Hereford breed - he's low in birth weight through to very acceptable growth and has a desirable skin, head and eye set and overall confirmation that will see him have breeding longevity. His dam is a moderate framed cow who is heading to the top of our herd. She has a magnificent young weaner bull and has a bomb-proof temperament. Definitely a potential sire here. The first of a wonderful set of Strikeforce S163 sons that should certainly create a lot of interest.

Combined with a crackerjack set of numbers, you can bet safely on this bull

Dam: TCCH268 by Thornleigh X007 President E305

PURE HORNED GENETICS. EYE PIGMENT XXX/XXX. True maternal powerhouse bull here. He combines two of our most highly rated breeding females over the last 30 years that I've been involved at Thornleigh. H186, Strikeforce S163's dam, and H268, the dam of Q153 (current sire at Ironbark), and S206 ($18,000 top price bull at Glen Innes in 2023). Both H186 and H268 are still breeding here at 13 years of age. Combine this with a double cross of the great Mawarra Minerva 554 behind him and he is maternally well founded. U163 has as much depth of body as any bull in this entire draft and is as quiet as a church mouse!

PURE HORNED GENETICS. EYE PIGMENT XXX/XXX. V104 is a glimpse of what's to come from his sire, Standout S176, who I rate as the best bull produced at Thornleigh since I have been involved. He sold for $20,000 at Wodonga in 2023 and we are using him widely over our horned females. He is maternally bullet-proof, as long as a train, with a lovely skin, head and muscle content. Watch for a very high quality group of S176 sons in 2026. V104 himself, is exactly what we hoped S176 would produce. His mother is a terrific breeding female and clrves out of her include Upsell sold to Sugarloaf Creek Herefords in 2024.

HETEROZYGOUS POLLED. EYE PIGMENT XXX/XXX. Another quality Qantas son with extra length of body - a trait he gets perhaps more from his top producing dam than anywhere. L472 is as sound as a bell at rising 10 years, having produced, among others, bulls selling up to $13,000 for R254 in Glen Innes 2022. He may have a little bit more performance than his data suggests but is structured right so, if using on heifers, make sure they're reasonably well grown. A very competitive data set.

He is only the 10th generation in the maternal line going back to 1953 - an average of 7.2 years per breeding female with a phenotype to match his data, he is a really attractive option.
